7 ways Perry would amend the Constitution

August 22, 2011 @

Rick Perry has many ideas about how to change the American government’s founding document. From ending lifetime tenure for federal judges to completely scrapping two whole amendments, the Constitution would see a major overhaul if the Texas governor and Republican presidential candidate had his druthers.

Perry laid out these proposed innovations to the founding document in his book, Fed Up! Our Fight to Save America from Washington. He has occasionally mentioned them on the campaign trail. Several of his ideas fall within the realm of mainstream conservative thinking today, but, as you will see, there are also a few surprises.

1. Abolish lifetime tenure for federal judges by amending Article III, Section I of the Constitution.

The nation’s framers established a federal court system whereby judges with “good behavior” would be secure in their job for life. Perry believes that provision is ready for an overhaul.

“The Judges,” reads Article III, “both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold…Read More Yahoo News

If you want the world’s most powerful globalists, the Bilderbergs, choosing the president of the United States again – Rick Perry is your candidate.

    Mr. Kreep,

I just had my credit card out to make a donation after getting your email about needing the extra funds for finding the ineligibility records in a foreign country when I came directly to your web site and read your apparent endorsement of Rick Perry. I am seriously disappointed! As the previous poster wrote, Perry is a globalist and just another hand-picked Bilderberg stooge. Regrettably, my conscience will not allow me to financially contribute to your (mostly) very worthy efforts. Please – I urge you, visit the INFOWARS DOT COM web site and read about the evils of Rick Perry and the majority of neocon candidates seeking the presidency (whether they are Republicrat or Demoblican). Ron Paul is the ONLY constitutionalist in the running and deserves your support. I am not a Ron Paul computer bot (they really don’t exist – his is a grass roots effort from WE, THE PEOPLE). I am a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom who has thoroughly researched the candidates. While I have some disagreements with Dr. Paul, they are very, very few and minor. Please reconsider your apparent endorsements. I’ll continue to follow your work and will support you when I can do so fully. God bless.

I WILL WORK FOR GOVERNOR PERRY TO SEE THAT HE DEFEATS OBAMA AND URGE OTHER MEMBERS OF MY GROUP TO VOTE FOR PERRY AND WORK IN HIS CAMPAIGN.

I believe Perry should amend the Constitution of allowing Judges with good behavior to remain for life in their jobs…This is not right and this needs to be done…Too many Judges riding on the coat tails of the people paying their high priced salaries. I am all for Perry to Amend that part of the constitution to stop lifetime Judges.

Also to have re-elections every two years for Senators, Congressmen/women and Reps. Along with local officials…Time to change this outrageous money-grabbing taxes to these local and higher govermental officials..This will keep these folks honest and on the right track…We will need a committee to make sure these officials are monitored daily-tracking. I will serve on that committee along with others in my high integrity groups.
