USJF launches campaign against FCC control of Internet

On Dec. 17, 2010 the United States Justice Foundation launched an aggressive campaign to alert the American people of an attempt by the Federal Communications Commission through the Department of Homeland Security, based on an Executive Order issued by President Barack Obama, to assume control of the Internet.

USJF’s effort, picked up by several other advocacy groups throughout the United States, triggered hundreds of thousands of faxes, emails and telephone calls to congressmen and senators demanding that they act to rescind the self-asserted authority of the FCC to regulate the Internet.
