Walmart Stands Firm Against Union Thugs

November 26, 2012 @

Immediately after Barack Obama’s reelection, his union masters beat their chests and growled their demand for “Card Check,” the decidedly anti-American dream of Big labor to use physical intimidation to force all of America to be unionized. Under this demented scheme union goons would be allowed to threaten and intimidate workers to scare them into voting to unionize, thereby allowing union bosses to steal a portion of their paychecks each week in return for keeping their jobs.

The Democrats love this because as the crooks and lowlifes they are, they look forward to union kickbacks of this extorted money which they use to destroy any Republican opposition – just look at the socialist State of California to get a clearer picture of how these extortions work.

In order to make “Card Check” a reality, Big Labor must find a way to extort union dues money from Walmart’s 1.3 million employees. “Black Friday’ was the opening post-election round of these attacks on Walmart, but by all accounts it failed and the joke was on the union thugs.

In a refreshing reminder that our side can be snarky and blunt, Walmart’s corporate office at Bentonville Arkansas (not New York or Los Angeles – but Arkansas) released a triumphant message to their enemies both in and out of the White House.   “We had a very safe and successful Black Friday events at our stores across the country and heard overwhelmingly positive feedback from our customers.  Only 26 protests occurred at stores last night and many of them did not include any Walmart associates.”

Walmart supplies reasonably priced goods for the average person and the largest part of our population. They also employ many hard working but satisfied individuals. Unions back off! Your not wanted there!

I’m no WalMart fan. They sell shit made in Communist China that used to be made in American factories. Whether the unions get your cash or the Chinese Communists get it, it all adds up to the same thing. America pays out its ass!

I believe in all companys that stand strong against union marxist thuggery. Unions are not for the working person all they stand for is filling their pockets with the working mans monies. They also are the ones that teach and enforce slowing down production to raise the cost of operation to the company that is trying to deliver a product. The unions are nothing but legalized gansters. Anyway YEA WALMART.

Since I was in the eighth Grade MANY decades ago, I have maintained that if automakers kept sriking for more money and more benefits they would eventually price themselves out of the market; and for the most part they have and are struggling on the verge of failing under the weight of the decades of strikes and benefits. I was raised in a union family and was at a time a union member myself. They are great at relieving members of part of their hard earned wages, use it to support the left and try to control for whom we vote. Their charters are mear words to sell their thuggary yet fail to uphold themselves.

We now have a new CRY . . . “REMEMBER HOSTESS!”

Unions have long outlived their usefulness and only exist to protect the drones…
they have succeeded in pricing themselves out of work in almost every area of the workplace and when they don’t get their way, they bus in the goons…
The rank and file follows the union bosses blindly (no wonder they make perfect Democrats), keep shelling out more and more in dues only to see union bosses get richer and give more and more excuses as to why there’s no work for them.

As one that is Retired from working “union” I watched the Union’s go from Working Men who were Proud of the Quality of work they did to People that for the most part did not give a damn. Showed up for the pay check, and that’s about all. No pride in the Work.

They went from a Father Son to Green Card’s. From American’s to Workforce/Man Power worker’s. Down Hill FAST!

From today’s “Too Much, an online weekly on excess and inequality”:
“Last week, with Wal-Mart workers all across the country planning Black Friday job actions, the giant retailer took time out to announce that the next Wal-Mart dividend will go out December 27 instead of January 2. Why the switch? The Bush tax cut for dividends expires at year-end. Switching the date will save the billionaire heirs of Wal-Mart founder Sam Walton as much as $180 million.

Some perspective: This $180 million would be enough to give 72,000 Wal-Mart workers now making $8 an hour a 20 percent annual pay hike. That hike would still leave those workers making under the poverty line for a family of three.”

Walmart workers not only have to cope with a greedy and cost-cutting company that doesn’t want to share with employees, now they have to cope with union thugs who want to take advantage of them….

Pat, You just made two great observations. One the employees are getting their dividend checks. I don’t know how much they get for their dividends, but a lot of companies and government jobs that don’t give any. There may be enough to off set the the 20% hike in wages you are talking about.

The second thing is the date the dividends are given are right before the BUSH Tax Cuts are about to expire. To give them the money at that time, it means the employees will probably get more in a dividend from the company. The Dems are hell-bent on raising taxes on everyone. There is a good possibility that $180 million won’t be there to give next year, because of the tax expiration. Wal-Mart was built on getting people quality products at the cheapest price. Buying in massive bulk, having strategically located distribution centers, and other ways to save a buck is what they do.

We heard for years in the Bush years of how we need to raise the minimum wage. It was done, but that put fewer jobs on the market for people with no skills to get a job. We also heard that working for McDonalds was such a lowly job for people. I think it was last year or the year before that in June, job numbers were 70,000 jobs created. Of that number, 60,000 were from McDonalds. Did you hear one person in Congress claim how great the economy was doing? There wasn’t much of any kind of reporting by the Media about their progress either.

I once fought for a Food Workers Union for two years. I at one time joined the Machinist Union when Machinist were skilled people and not overpaid Machine Operators.

Unions today are a bunch of Nazi/Cmmunist Thugs stealing money from workers to fill the pockets of Union Bosses, which are white collar management themselves, and giving workers hard earned pay to any person they wish-not unlike Obama.

With the cheating that went on during election is is not a wonder that Obama won.

Congrats to Wal Mart!!!!!!One of the few who has the guts to tell the union to go scratch itself!!!Naturally, the thrust is line the pockets with money. Stick to your guns Walmart, you most certainly deserve sincere credit from American workers!!!

They started out doing good. They are now thugs greedy and trying to force everyone to pay them monthly to work.. I ask them and our walmart employees are happy and like their job. One lady even said they pay me well, I have no education and I can do this work. She said not their fault I quit school. They have 1.2 million employee’s. If they wanted union they could go find a union job. The average person can afford to buy things we could not buy if they were union with high prices.
    Leave Walmart alone.
